A neutral slate Soft Touch chassis provides the canvas and contrast for our bright yellow polarized lens system. With a unique highlighting ability, our true yellow tint is perfect for use in low light conditions such as dawn and dusk. The low-key appearance of the slate finish is a proven favorite and the yellow tint transmits a maximum amount of light at 100% polarizing efficiency. The timeless look of the Wide Line makes it one of the most popular styles as it comfortably accommodates wider prescription glasses.
“Couldn’t be more thrilled with my Cocoons! The accessories were a surprise! I use the case all the time.”

YELLOW LENS SYSTEM
The yellow lens is a time-tested standard in both ski and shooting sports. Providing excellent depth perception and dramatic contrast in fluctuating and low-light conditions, the unique light management properties of the lens heighten visual acuity. So when the trail cuts deep into the woods or the clouds start rolling in, a yellow lens will facilitate a field of vision as warm and relaxing as it is sharp.

Every pair of Cocoons includes our lightweight, yet durable, custom designed Cocoons case. Manufactured from the highest quality neoprene, the Cocoons case is virtually indestructible. The thick, yet surprisingly lightweight neoprene construction is stain resistant, maintains its form and flexibility in extreme temperatures and is exceptionally robust. The case features a convenient belt clip and a top mounted swivel clip for easy attachment to backpacks, purses, belts, and pockets. The case is sealed with a corrosion-proof, premium quality coil zipper and is extremely buoyant. Even when fully loaded, it will remain afloat if accidentally dropped overboard.

POLARÉ® LENS SYSTEM
Lightwaves reflected from horizontal surfaces produce harsh, penetrating glare that can greatly distort and hinder visual acuity. Polarized lenses act as a chemical “venetian blind” that eliminates blinding glare by neutralizing the reflected light before it reaches the eyes. The Polaré lens system delivers maximum polarization efficiency to enhance visual performance while allowing the eyes to remain relaxed and focused.
Sporadic weather conditions (clear to moderate cloud cover) call for lens tints that effectively decrease light intensity while enhancing contrast and depth perception.
Long sunny days with intense light levels and blinding, reflected surface glare require darker tints and mirrored lens finishes to provide maximum eye comfort and visual performance.
As daylight hours and sunlight intensity begin to decline from summer, contrast-enhancing lenses that feature moderate tints will maximize visual performance and comfort.
Low, flat light (overcast conditions) require high light transmission tints that “brighten” your view while increasing contrast. Activities with intense surface glare call for dark tints with mirror finishes.
