Clip-Ons REC15-56 Gunmetal Polarized Yellow

Model: L4278Y

$49.95

With this featured clip, a neutral gunmetal chassis provides the canvas and contrast for our bright yellow polarized lens system. With a unique highlighting ability, our true yellow tint is perfect for use in low light conditions such as dawn and dusk. The low-key appearance of the gunmetal chassis is a proven favorite and the yellow tint transmits a maximum amount of light at 100% polarizing efficiency.

“I’ve never really liked yellow lenses, but I tried these for lower light and I actually found them pretty helpful. I like that they’re still polarized.” 4 out of 5 stars (4 / 5) Triston G., Santa Rosa, CA

The yellow lens is a time-tested standard in both ski and shooting sports. Providing excellent depth perception and dramatic contrast in fluctuating and low-light conditions, the unique light management properties of the lens heighten visual acuity. So when the trail cuts deep into the woods or the clouds start rolling in, a yellow lens will facilitate a field of vision as warm and relaxing as it is sharp.

  • Polarized to eliminate blinding glare
  • UV400 protection from UVA & UVB rays
  • Filters 75% of blue light (HEV)

POLARÉ® LENS SYSTEM

Relax Your Eyes,
Focus on the Task

Lightwaves reflected from horizontal surfaces produce harsh, penetrating glare that can greatly distort and hinder visual acuity.  Polarized lenses act as a chemical “venetian blind” that eliminates blinding glare by neutralizing the reflected light before it reaches the eyes.  The Polaré lens system delivers maximum polarization efficiency to enhance visual performance while allowing the eyes to remain relaxed and focused.

SPRING

Sporadic weather conditions (clear to moderate cloud cover) call for lens tints that effectively decrease light intensity while enhancing contrast and depth perception.

SUMMER

Long sunny days with intense light levels and blinding, reflected surface glare require darker tints and mirrored lens finishes to provide maximum eye comfort and visual performance.

FALL

As daylight hours and sunlight intensity begin to decline from summer, contrast-enhancing lenses that feature moderate tints will maximize visual performance and comfort.

WINTER

Low, flat light (overcast conditions) require high light transmission tints that “brighten” your view while increasing contrast. Activities with intense surface glare call for dark tints with mirror finishes.
